Spring Senior Session – National Press

March 26, 2018

When I look at this image, I see something dreamy.  This spring senior session was one of that you walk away from and think “I can’t wait to see these images!”  Well, for this one, I was right.  Not only was I happy with my images,  the client was happy, and for the first time since I started this journey, I was recognized by Senior Year Magazine!

Some of you may not know about them..but in the senior portrait world, there are many groups that recognize senior photographers nationally, and this is one of them.  We senior photographers take pride in our work and post our work frequently on social media, especially Instagram the platform MADE for those of us who love photography.

This new business started with a dream of mine.  I wanted to do something I love outside of my corporate job and it has been the absolute best decision I have made. I am spending time away from my family on these photo shoots. But the enjoyment I get out of them is just too much to put into words.  I am constantly trying new things, educating myself and upping my game on each session.  So, to be recognized for the first time by a senior photography outlet is a pretty big deal to me.  It means I am doing something right. I can actually play with the big dogs and learn from them on a daily basis.

My decision to specialize in senior photography has come from my love of a few things. I love shooting portraits.  I love this age group.  These girls LOVE having their picture taken and are so much fun. I have my first senior team in place and can’t wait to see what images we can create together.  More to come on these lovely ladies….

A heartfelt Thank You to Senior Year Magazine.  I will not forget this day.
